This Dyband Web Site Privacy Policy is applicable to Dyband.com and other sites on the World Wide Web owned and operated by Dyband Corporation.

Introduction - General

Dyband respects the privacy of those who visit our Web sites, orders products or services or sends us e-mail. This Privacy Policy outlines the information Dyband will collect and how we will use that information. This Policy will also instruct you on what to do if you do not want your personal information collected or shared when you visit Dyband Web sites, order our products on-line or send us email.

Security

All order forms on Dyband.com utilize a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) protocol for browsers that support 128-bit encryption (such as Netscape® Navigator version 2.0 or greater, or Microsoft® Internet Explorer version 2.1 or greater) to provide "secure sessions" for our visitors. Through the "secure session," information that you input into a Dyband.com order form will be sent and will arrive privately and unaltered. This security prohibits other companies and Web users from being able to access your information.

How do I know if my browser is secure? A change in the URL from http:// to https:// notifies you that you are using SSL. If the URL on a page asking you to provide personal information remains as http://, beware as this may result in an unsecure transmission.

If you are not using a browser that adheres to SSL Protocol and does not support 128-bit encryption, the information you provide may not be secure and we recommend that you contact us directly to order products.

Personally Identifiable Information

Your "personally identifiable information" is information that enables us to identify you, such as your email address, name and mailing address. Dyband collects information of visitors to our website including: your domain name, what website address you came from in getting to the Dyband website, information regarding what pages are accessed, information volunteered by you, such as survey information, email address or site registrations, and your preferred means of communication.

In order to serve you better, Dyband may use your personally identifiable information to personalize your experience on our website, or to send you communications that may be of interest, electronically or otherwise.

Dyband will not collect any personally identifiable information about you (that is, your name, address, telephone number, or email address) unless you provide it to us voluntarily. If you do not want your personal information collected, please do not submit it to us. If you have already submitted this information and would like for us to remove it from our records, please contact us at the email address listed at the bottom of this Policy. We will use reasonable efforts to delete your information from our existing files.

It is always our objective to collect only that information necessary for us to achieve the purposes for which we are collecting information. For example, we will not ask you for credit card information unless you are purchasing a product or service from us.

Dyband will not sell personal information to third parties, unless stated at the time of collection. However, Dyband may use such information to contact you or your company for marketing purposes. Dyband also may make personally identifiable information available to third parties, including trusted business partners, for marketing purposes.

In some instances such as product registration and purchases, surveys, or through your use of certain on-line services provided by Dyband, there is information that we are required to collect to enable us to process your request, such as registering your product, or to provide you with certain on-line services. We may also be required by law to disclose certain information (for example, the geographical location of customers who download products containing high-level encryption)

The following are some examples of when Dyband may require that you provide personal information:

  • to complete an online order for a product or service (if you do not wish to complete an online order form, we will always provide an option for you to complete an order by calling a toll free phone number)

  • to request more information about new or current Dyband products or services

Privacy and Third Party Links or Web Sites

Dyband sometimes offers links to the sites of our alliance, co-marketing and channel partners and we also offer links to many other Web sites that we are not affiliated with. When using some of our on-line services, you could be directed to these other sites. Dyband is not responsible for the privacy policies or other terms of use of these third party sites or other sites you may link to while using the Dyband sites. This includes links from advertisers. These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information.

Use of Cookies
