Dyband is a scalable software solution that runs on industry-standard hardware and software. Dyband manages any type or combination of transport technologies from a single, easy-to-use graphical interface, including 56k, xDSL, wireless, leased-lines, Ethernet, cable, and satellite.

Dyband's traffic-shaping component is installed on a dedicated system located between the Internet router and the distribution network, where it shapes all traffic that passes through it.

Other Dyband components, enabling system configuration, performance monitoring, archiving, report generation, and global service profiles, may be located anywhere, on single or multiple systems, as long as there is appropriate IP connectivity.

Dyband provides access to essential operational status information via SNMP, an industry-standard network management protocol. Consequently, Dyband can easily be monitored
by existing network management platforms.
